2. What is your company's main theme for KOREA OCEAN EXPO, and which core capabilities or technologies would you like to highlight the most?

Korean Register (KR) will participate in this exhibition under the theme “Driving a Sustainable Maritime Industry through Digital Transformation and Decarbonization.”

KR supports the advancement and implementation of future maritime technologies, including autonomous navigation, onboard carbon capture systems (OCCS), and digital-based ship safety management solutions, through safety verification and technical services based on international standards. KR is also enhancing its digital service ecosystem through KR-DAON (Digital Application Online Network), enabling customers to access services more easily and efficiently.

In addition, KR continues to strengthen its capabilities in environmental regulatory compliance and data-driven services, contributing to improved safety and sustainability in the global maritime industry.

Korean Register (KR) will continue to strengthen its technical verification and collaboration based on international standards in line with the maritime industry’s key trends of digital transformation and decarbonization. It also aims to contribute to enhancing safety and sustainability in the maritime industry through cooperation with various stakeholders.
