4. What makes Marineworks particularly strong in the Korea Coast Guard and maritime safety sector?

Since its founding, Marineworks has been a specialized company dedicated exclusively to the field of vessel ICT. Building on our proven expertise in both the domestic merchant ship and naval vessel markets, we are uniquely positioned to provide optimized solutions tailored for Korea Coast Guard (KCG) patrol vessels.

In particular, by utilizing our remote-controlled firefighting vessel technology, maritime personnel can safely execute missions remotely without directly entering high-risk environments, such as maritime fires or disaster zones. This capability offers an innovative leap in strengthening maritime safety and emergency response systems. Furthermore, our successful track record of exporting ECDIS, IBS, and radar systems to international navies—including those of Malaysia, the Philippines, and Peru—demonstrates that our technology is recognized at a global standard. Marineworks is committed to being the core partner in the Korea Coast Guard’s digitalization and smart vessel initiatives.
